Social Media

1. You are using the wrong social media platforms

I am not sure if you are aware of this but each social media platform serves a different purpose.

Builds brand awareness, reputation, and loyalty.

Leverages visual content to evoke feelings and emotions.

Is great for quick updates and breaking news.

Connects you with other professionals.

In order to really leverage social media platforms to your advantage, it is important to understand the purpose of each one. You need to ensure that you are using the correct ones for your specific target audience.

2. You’re too focused on selling rather than engaging

Performance marketing may work, however solely relying on this method is not the most sustainable path toward growth.

You need to focus on building your brand on social media as this can be a very effective strategy. Stay authentic, provide personalized content, and sell your brand instead of selling your products or services.

3. You are using the wrong tone!

What tone are you using and is that tone the correct tone for your target audience?

Make sure that you are showcasing the personality of your brand, think of your brand as a person in a sense. Whatever tone you bring forward will attract that type of audience, so make sure you are attracting the correct audience.

4. You don’t have a social media strategy

The sad truth is that you are wasting your time if you are trying to build a following without a defined strategy. Your social media objectives should align with your business goals, but also how it contributes to your marketing strategy.
